Good ground bison

I got some ground bison from here last week. It was really good, cooked up nicely. The delivery was pretty fast, like 3 days to get to me in Oregon. Overall, happy with it and would probably order again when I run out.

Decent experience, minor issue

I placed an order for some elk medallions and an ancestral blend beef. The meat quality was high, as expected; it cooked up nicely and tasted great. Shipping was free because my order was over $150, which was a plus, and it arrived in about 4 days. The packaging was mostly fine, everything was still frozen. However, one corner of the elk medallion package had a small tear, not enough to expose the meat but it was slightly concerning. Customer service was responsive when I mentioned it. Overall, a solid choice for quality meat, just a small detail to improve on the packaging.

Worth it with the discount

I was looking for some better quality meat and saw they had a first-time buyer discount. I ended up getting one of the keto bundles and applied the 15% off code. It made a real difference in the total cost, especially since shipping was free because I hit the $150 minimum. The meat itself was great; the bison patties were delicious, and the venison steaks cooked perfectly. Without the discount, it would have been a bit pricey for my usual budget, but with it, I felt like I got a really good deal for the quality. Definitely made it worth the purchase.

Quality meat, good process

I ordered the regenerative beef and some chicken thighs to try out their products. The ordering process was straightforward on their website, and I received a confirmation email immediately. Shipping took exactly 4 business days to reach my location in California, and the items arrived well-packaged in a sturdy cooler with dry ice, still frozen solid. The beef had excellent marbling and flavor when cooked, and the chicken was tender. I had a quick question about storage, and their customer service responded within a few hours via email, which was helpful. The only minor point is that the dry ice had mostly evaporated, but the meat remained frozen.

Does Force of Nature ever do free shipping? My cart is getting kinda pricey.

A Anna 2 months ago
I think they do if you hit a certain amount, like over $150 or something. Check their site, it usually pops up.

Yup, free shipping on orders over $150. That's how I usually get it, helps balance out the cost.

Can you use more than one discount code at checkout? Got a first-time buyer one and a referral link.

C Chris 2 months ago
Nah, usually it's just one code. Most places don't let you stack 'em.

I've tried before and it only lets you apply one. Sucks, but that's pretty standard for online stores.

Is force of nature any good compared to butcherbox? trying to decide between the two.

R Rachel P. 2 months ago
I switched from ButcherBox to Force of Nature and prefer FON's quality, especially the bison and elk. Feels more 'wild' somehow.

Both are good, but FON leans more into the regenerative and wild game stuff which I like. ButcherBox felt a bit more generic to me after a while.

Thinking of ordering from Force of Nature. Does the meat actually arrive frozen solid? I'm worried about it thawing out during shipping.

O Omar Nguyen 2 months ago
Yeah, every time I've ordered, it's been totally frozen. They pack it really well with dry ice.

Mine always arrives perfectly frozen, even in the summer. No issues there, they use good insulation.

how long does force of nature meat last in the freezer? want to stock up but worried about it going bad.

J June 2 months ago
It lasts a long time! Like, a year or even more if it's properly sealed. I've had stuff in there for months and it's fine.

Totally depends on how good your freezer is, but generally, a good 6-12 months is safe for most cuts. It comes vacuum sealed which helps a lot.
